1. feren OS 2015.XEven though they are losing support in a few weeks, feren OS 2015.X being released was one less thing to do and also good because then it meant that you guys could finally give our early vision of the OS a whirl (amidst the WiFi bug, the Files bug and some missing themes). And for sure I was happy about finally getting it to the public... 2. A fresh Origami logo (What the shape of it before was suppose to be based off of)You heard right, a New Fresher Logo... It kinda speaks for itself... :) 3. A change in nameWe would like to announce a new name for feren OS Linux, meet feren OS. (Yeah, it's without the Linux part, that is the only different thing)... 3. First Previews of feren OS 2016 LucidWe also got to show you some of the progress of Lucid in the previous posts if you have a look at them... Don't worry, we've almost finished, I now just have to find a way to make the filesystem.squashfs file from 8.1GB to preferably less than 4.7GB and then I can finally give you the next preview... Happy new years 2016 everyone!*
For reference: The old logo... Notice anything different about the icon on the top-left? It's changed a little bit hasn't it? Yep, it's now been made into a more origami logo... New logo: Blue: White: feren
Almost ready to release feren OS Linux 2015 (for real this time)! UPDATE: 32-Bit is now out!25/7/2015 Here comes the time when I'm proud to announce the day, you will have to wait no longer for feren OS Linux 2015, is on July 29th and this time it's bootable as an .iso file and installs successfully to the same PCs that Ubuntu does and can install on. Now don't worry, all the planned applications will still make the cut (except possibly PhotoQT due to its argumentativeness when it comes to getting it to install on Ubuntu 15.04).
Recently, when I have looked at some logos, I have noticed that some have a neat, origami look to them and so I have decided to update our logo to an origami bird, and I will be updating the logo as fast as I can.
