Release Notes for Ubuntu 22.04 based Feren OS

These apply to Feren OS 2025.03 (Codenamed 'Osmium') and newer.

DNS Resolver may break on the rare occasion

Feren OS 2025.03 inherits an upstream issue in systemd, tracked at https://github.com/systemd/systemd/issues/21123, that causes the DNS Resolver to, on the rare occasion, suddenly stop working.
If you start seeing DNS errors in your web browser, or ‘resolving’ errors in software like Store and Update Manager, simply disconnect from then reconnect to your current internet connection to fix the issue.

This bug is upstream and its status is tracked at https://github.com/systemd/systemd/issues/21123 — if you can help debug the issue, help is welcome there.

Moving windows larger than your screen

You can hold Super ('Windows Key') while dragging at any point of a window to move that window. Similarly holding the second mouse button down instead of the first causes the window to be resized, if allowed by the application.
