Not good news, seems like Canonical is only gonna focus on Cloud and IoT if anything, and just have Ubuntu Desktop be that one, boring distribution based off of Debian. Things to note:
Alrightly, I've been planning at some point to switch from Ubuntu to Debian, but... this has just gave me a better point in order to do this, sorry Ubuntu users, but... feren OS 2018.0 MAY* be Switching to Debian (hopefully, depends mostly on the feren OS Repository working) Things are going too far now, I, I can't imagine anything improving with Ubuntu after this switching and whatnot... Sorry Canonical, but feren OS needs to be one good distribution that LASTS, oh, and Manjaro is also going to pulp because of updates BREAKING System-core things in the distribution, even if it's VANILLA Manjaro. Update: There's been issues getting LMDE installed and booting, so feren OS will end up remaining on Ubuntu, but with rolling release, and so on... * May be delayed if the repositories aren't ready by that version feren
