feren OS 2016.2 BETA Released - We're nearly there!

Today marks the release of the BETA of feren OS's best version yet, 2016.2. Many things have been improved in this BETA from 2016.2 ALPHA and it means we're nearly there in terms of Stable, though, it still has its own set of bugs included with it.

Changes from 2016.2 ALPHA:

• ALPHA has been replaced with BETA
• Live CD Bootloader has been changed from Linux Mint's one to feren OS's
• XnRetro is back
• Atom has replaced VS Code
• Adapta now has its own preview thumbnails
• New Installer Slideshow
• Arc now has its icon set
• Automatic Updates are now enabled
• WINE is back
• Numix Frost now works properly
• Scalable Bigger Weather Icons for Weather applet on Inspire
• Inspire Icon Set is now version 1.0.4
• PPAs added
• Some user defaults fixes
• The wallpaper that will be in Stable has now replaced the UNDER CONSTRUCTION wallpapers

Known Bugs:

• Themer: Windows XP Silver and Olive Green missing theme set(s)
• Icon Sets: Icons not downloaded until installed system is booted and then the user logs in, if they haven't got a config before the installation
• Software doesn't install applications on the LiveCD (GNOME Software Bug)
• GTK: Dark Themes have disappearing GTK3 items at random times of theme use
• ISO is nearly 4.0GB in Linux, will try to shrink the ISO as much as possible without affecting product quality (in the RC)
• Initrd: The boot screen will appear fully black on the Live CD, we're working on fixing that.
