A new Snapshot is Now Available! (Changes)

A new Snapshot of feren OS, codenamed Oxygen, has been released for both 32 Bit and 64 Bit Devices, and it comes with a lot of good changes from after August Snapshot's (NEON's) release. Listed below are some of the more noticeable changes, as well as how to Upgrade:

How to Upgrade from August Snapshot:

Simple. Just go into the Update Manager, hit Refresh, and install any updates that might be there, once you've done that, congrats, you're now on October Snapshot!

New Background Set

This release is packed with a new set of wallpapers, namely being a new Unsplash Wallpaper Set, though, if you like kitties, then you'll have to go into Terminal, and type 'sudo apt install feren-backgrounds-neon' as this set lacks a Cat wallpaper, although, there's now a Dog wallpaper...

​Logo in System Info and Themes Refinements

Yep, feren OS has MODIFIED Cinnamon's System Settings, to offer a logo in System Info...

...and a one-paged Themes*
*Screenshots taken off of a sister project branching from feren OS, hence, WinStyle is the default theme in this machine, while it isn't on the actual product.

Maximus, the Automatic Window Maximiser, is here for Tablet Mode

From now on, Maximus has been added to feren OS, to add in the easier use of Tablet Mode's intended workflow, of a full-screen window, with the titlebar buttons embedded in the panel. Apologies to Desktop Mode Users while they were scratching their heads at Maximus NOT playing ball and instead wreaking havoc on them.

Improvements, improvements, improvements...

All the other edits I forgot about that were made after August Snapshot, in peculiar fashion, also made their way into October Snapshot, too, so there's less updates needed to get the latest out of feren OS.

Upcoming Changes

A BIG upgrade to Inspire

I've been working on a major upgrade to Inspire, that, while it may not be visually noticeable, changes the layout of the icon set's structure, which also means I can adapt better Icon Set Configs into it, and get more scalable icons working where they're intended, and to top it off, a NEW Screenshot Icon will also make its way with the icon set update, once Inspire BLUE is fully finished with this change in mind, too.
